<p>Une certaine crème du stoner-rock Frenchie est en tournée actuellement avec 7 WEEKS, MUDWEISER et LOADING DATA. L’étape de Lyon au Ninkasi Kafé ne va pas passer inaperçue c’est certain, avec une grosse affluence qui envahit les lieux ce vendredi soir 8 Mars dans cet endroit convivial du quartier de Gerland. Minimum 300 personnes agglutinées entre la scène et le bar, le trio gagnant d’un certain rock enfumé à fait donc le plein, le concert étant gratuit, il faut le signaler, mais quand même !</p> <p>A 21heures, LOADING DATA envoie le son, et quel son, l’on sent que ce soir les murs du Ninkasi Kafé vont trembler encore une fois. Nous allons profiter en live des nouvelles compositions du quatuor enregistrées pour leur nouvel opus « Double Disco Animal Style » qui parait ce mois-ci. Leur désert-rock semble être le fils bâtard d’une improbable copulation entre KYUSS et PEARL JAM, pourquoi pas. Stoner classieux donc avec bien mise en avant la voix particulière dans les graves du chanteur/frontman. Pour l’instant le public savoure sans trop se manifester physiquement, ce qui ne saura être le cas pour les deux groupes à venir nous le verrons bien plus tard. Avec LOADING DATA c’est tout un pan du rock qui défile devant nos yeux et qui envahit nos conduits auditifs. Les fantômes fugaces de Led Zep, des Stooges, des Doors, de Dylan et de Môtörhead, tournent dans notre esprit. C’est bon, c’est « catchy » et émotif en diable, ,on aime. Et ce n’est pas ce soir une corde cassée en milieu de set qui viendra ternir l’ambiance prenante créée par le groupe Frenchie. Et l’on retrouve donc ces ambiances particulières d’un certain rock lourd où la basse, bien grasse, tient un rôle prépondérant. D’ailleurs Jay, bassiste en titre, fait une démonstration très mouvementées sur une chorégraphie démente en live. Ici, ça sent le whisky frelaté, l’huile de vidange et la chaleur moite du bayou de Louisiane. MUDWEISER a lui aussi un nouvel album sous le bras intitulé « Angel Lust ». Alors ce soir la bande à Reuno va nous en faire déguster quelques titres. Reuno qui adopte un chant sale et rugueux , quelquefois lancinant, et ses acolytes jouent le jeu dans des ambiances crades qui dérapent ensuite dans des lâchers de riffs où la batterie plombée nous martèle les neurones. Le groupe s’amuse donc à nous balader de titre en titre en accentuant le chaud et le froid, le malsain émouvant et les déchirements agressifs réveillant un public qui ne se gène pas pour bourriner allègrement. Et tout cela fut bien bon il me semble, personne pour me contredire je pense. Et je ne puis attendre plus longtemps dans ma chronique pour vous dire que dés les premiers titres j’ai pris une « kecla dans la chetron » comme dirait mon ami le keupon fou. 7 WEEKS ce soir, c’est carré, puissant et mouvementé en même temps. Julien se lâche comme jamais, chant et basse en avant. Accompagné d’un claviériste, d’un guitariste et d’un batteur, le leader charismatique de ce combo rock percutant ne fait pas de cadeau ce soir à nos « cages à miel » c’est sûr. La réaction du public ne se fait pas attendre et ça va déménager sec devant la scène pour de bon au point que la « sécu » des lieux se fera un peu de souci, le chanteur lui demandant de se calmer. Rien de grave on est là pour s’éclater rien de plus, cool ! Les Limougeaux font un stoner particulier très influencé par QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, plus « cow-boy » que marécages avec des mélodies prenantes incitant au voyage quel qu’il soit. Ce voyage secoué par des envois rock n’roll au groove imparable qui donne envie de se secouer les tripes. Nous y voilà, 7 WEEKS nous prend aux tripes donc sans artifices sans faux semblant. Pour le dernier titre du show de ce soir, Jay, bassiste de Mudweiser, viendra chanter sur scène et se rouler par terre, la folie rock quoi !. Le stoner, le rock-fort plombé et chaleureux a encore de beaux jours devant lui notamment grâce aux trois formations du style de ce soir, Loading Data, Mudweiser et 7 Weeks qui nous ont mis la « banane » (métallique ?), on recommence quand ?</p> no images were found
