Modern oriental metal band IGNEA has released a debut video on the track Alga with a full symphonic orchestra. In less than 1 week the video has gained over 10,000 views on YouTube, without extra promotion and despite small experience of the band.

Alga means ‘forward’ in Crimean Tatar language. IGNEA has dedicated the song to Crimean Tatars. In fact, the track is sung on behalf of this people. The peculiarity of Alga lies, of course, in featuring a full orchestra, which creates live symphonic sound and has an obvious advantage, contrary to synth sounds usually used by young bands.

Audio version of Alga also features a B-Side track — symphonic version of ‘Sputnik’ track produced by Xes Dreams band.

Before Alga, IGNEA has been acting under another title — Parallax. Within Parallax, the band has released an EP Sputnik and a joint track Petrichor with Yossi Sassi (ex-guitarist of Orphaned Land).
